Offshore Bathymetric Depths
As indicated in Bathymetric Data near seacoast, the bathymetric data are in nature generated by the interaction between the microwaves emitted by SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) and polarized molecules in water body. Water itself is polarized molecule, other chemical components in seawater enhances such a physical effect. According to newly calibrated two-side DEM, the depths of seawater can be accurately detected by using our techniques. Similarly, in practice, the waters locating on the shores must be professionally trimmed off before performances happening in downstream applications, otherwise it leads to huge errors.
Differences in Applications
In addition to that the techniques applied to calculating inland water body are still able to perform the scientific offshore calculation, the more oceanic factors such as significant wave height and wind speed and sea surface temperature can be taken into account as well, and then investigate more oceanic phenomena. Accordingly its applications are certainly more than the ones relevant to inland water body. In other words, our service not only covers all inland lakes and rivers but also includes projects related to the offshore globally such as ocean engineering, harbours or bays development including renewable energy and fisheryat both side of shores.
