Bathymetric Data near Seacoast

The bathymetric data are in nature generated by the interaction between the microwaves emitted by SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) and polar molecules in water body of lakes and rivers. Those polarized molecules generates their electromagnetic waves received by antenna installed in a high speeding platform when external electromagnetic fields emitted by SAR impose upon the water body.
Although there could be many different kinds of molecules existing in the water body, at least water (H2O) is a polar molecule. Thereby, such a phenomenon certainly exist near sea coast.
Dr. Carl Jiang has not only explained the phenomenon in theories but also given more instances collected from different parts of world in his other two papers[1,2] to have proved a fact that bathymetric data exist near seacoast.
As mentioned before, because NASA and USGS have fully ignored this phenomenon, the sea-level based DEM of sea or ocean has not been supplied by them to users, thus the bathymetric data at the offshore have not been fully gained yet. Nevertheless, such a situation has been altered. A  new style two-side DEM has been appeared (see Offshore Bathymetric Depths). Accordingly, the more applications have been extended to the offshore.
