In this part III including part IV, the focuses are to be moved to investigate some phenomena concerned by researchers in the fields associated with plant physiology, biochemistry, quantum chemistry and thermodynamics including some concepts of statistical thermodynamics in microscale.
As already seen, based on the data of LiDAR, other diverse data can be used to investigate specific topics within its classification.
The data of HyMAP play a vital role in identifying substances and performing quantitative analysis. Such performance is very similar to the job we carry out in analytical chemistry. The difference is that the external shape of chemical substances in the former is usually known, in the case of the latter, both external and internal properties of the remotely sensed substances are usually unknown. However, by means of assistance of LiDAR, the external properties of them are gained. Accordingly, the research is located on the internal properties within the domain confined by LiDAR using knowledge of hyper-spectral features.
Nevertheless, as well known, spectroscopy (just like geography and IT used in this field) is a powerful and useful tool and assistant used to investigate some unknown substances and phenomena on the Earth. A lot of interdisciplinary specific knowledge are required to interpret and perform scientific calculation. Thereby, several relevant theories are supplied for advanced readers; they are built for further researches together. Hopefully, get feedbacks or comments on them.
Here, a quick look is supplied by Figure1 to 4. The hyper-spectra shown in Figure1 and 2 can be transferred and displayed in Figure 4. Of importance is that so-called hyper-spectrum is a multi-dimensional matrix.  Each spectral profile can be obtained by searching for each band along the third dimension.  In the remote sensing, ones are happy to call such dataset as a spectral cube. Its size (dimension) can be expressed by m×n×k (see Figure 3) in math, it usually needs massive memory to display all of stored data in a dataset in your PC.  In order to effectively perform, a subset can be selected on purpose rather than all of them.
