Notable and fast developing Innovative techniques (see Figure1) were firstly created by Dr.  Carl Jiang when he modelled bushfire spread in landscape commenced in 2010 by means of remote sensing technology incorporating with interdisciplinary knowledge. 


Concept of Digital Earth


Digital earth is a new concept. For most people in the world have been aware of many new products such as digital camera, TV. By comparison with them, approaching to digital Earth is extremely difficult and complex because it employs
1. Advanced knowledge of quantum mechanics and chemistry.
Substantially speaking, digital Earth can be achieved by collecting a series of useful selected sequence photons. These photons are countable through signal treatment.
2. Massive interdisciplinary knowledge. 
A lot of interdisciplinary knowledge are required in understanding various potential micro-processes, handling collected various data and applying selective data into infrastructure applications.


Distinguished Features of Innovative Advanced Techniques


  Once required knowledge is fluently mastered, work in infrastructure applications will become highly accurate and effective. The distinguished Features are briefly summarized as follows:
1. Highly effective integration of the optical remote sensing, radar remote sensing inclusive of LiDAR and Hyper-spectra.
2. Automatically and high effectively identifying and classifying observed objects in remote sensing imageries.
3. Extendable multi-physical fields, thus mathematically speaking a multi-dimensional matrix.
4. Powerful multi-matrices integrating with other advanced mathematics applied in both engineering calculation, design and scientific research.
5. Implantable interdisciplinary knowledge to perform multidisciplinary modelling and research.
6. Ability of accurately verifying and trimming misleading information sent by satellites including correcting errors hidden hyper-spectra through scientific calculation.

As a result, the traditional method of simply using remote sensing products is incomparable with the advanced techniques.
