The pulsed laser is the core part of SAR, of the great interest is that the emitted photons become controllable (see Figure 1). The time interval of photons is super short in the form of electromagnetic (EM) wave (see Figure 2). A series of photons is sent out at one fixed frequency. The frequency could be fixed within microwave  range in spectrum.  Of importance is that those photons themselves have wave-particle duality.
Above facts are extremely important, unfortunately most researchers in the world do not realize those. That results in many misunderstanding phenomena.
