  Satellite Altimeter detects height follows in one orbit in space by emitting pulsed EM wave from Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) (see Figure 1), its trace on the Earth is confined within one certain radius (see Figure 2) so as to effectively receive scattered signals.
