Altimetry Waveform
Altimetry waveform is a specific shape of temporal and spatial space formed by received useful signals reflected from the surface at ground while stellate travels following one orbit.
The density of signals appearing in waveform are directly affected by rate of scattered signals which are influenced by the terrain.
The density of received signals is expressed by term power to depict how much the magnitude of power varies with received signals.
Because this a random process, consequently the density appearing the waveform is equivalent to that of probability in statistics.
In fact, so-called signal is generated by individual photon due to wave-particle duality. But in electric engineering, it always names it as one signal to express any electric wave through one device. Therefore, the density, power of signal indirectly indicates how chemical and physical properties of component in soil and corresponding geologic and tectonic variety. In this process, physicochemical properties of mineral play a key role. The mechanisms are quite complex.
Due to analogue problems, few researchers have performed effective analysis in this field.
